About the Author

Mark Terris is a surgeon and author.  His first book Bullets to Bandages: Life Inside the Israeli Defense Forces, was a finalist for the Eric Hoffer Award 2018.  It was well reviewed by US Review of Books, Pacific Book Star Review and Kirkus Reviews.  The book delves into the culture and daily life inside the IDF.  

Dr. Mark Terris is a board certified head and neck surgeon, with a sub-specialty in surgical management of the thyroid gland and parathyroid glands.  He practices with the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (Kaiser Permanente).
